I also realized I never posted an installation shot from the show.  Thank you to everyone who came out, and to those who acquired some new artwork for the new year!

Happy New Year!

I wanted to post about a very special commission I did over the holidays.  My client wanted to give a small painting to a good friend as a Christmas gift.  I was told she loves Vanda Orchids, which are these vivid blue-purple flowers with a geometric veining.  So, voila! An 8"x8" little gem with custom Vanda Orchids and a silver leaf background.  A very merry Christmas!

That wasn't the only Sharon Lee Studio painting that ended up under a tree!  This one was for a couple's nursery, and turned out to be one of the favorites in the show.  It was even featured in the Korea Times article!  It's called "Two Birds, and a Third."  It was so amazing to do a piece for a nursery.  What more could I ask for?

Let me know if you have a particular idea in mind for a commission, and let's talk!
